Scan Preperation
Very little preparation is needed before getting a CBCT scan. Although you may be asked to remove jewellery, glasses, or metal objects as to not interfere with the scanner. You may alse be asked to take out removable dentures or retainers as this helps to ensure clear images.

Firstly you will be asked to either sit or stand in the CBCT machine. The dentist will then position your head carefully and ask you to bite gently on a small support.
The machine will the rotate around your head and begin taking images. This is completely painless and takes less than a minute.
The scan will produce detailed 3D images of your teeth, jaw, and surrounding structures.
Image Review
The images will appear on a screen following the scan, allowing the dentist to analyse the results and begin creating a treatment plan.
